Training is required for all Guardians prior to executing duties. Once completed, training does not have to be repeated.
The firstr Guardian Training date for 2012 is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 from 11 am until 12 pm.
It will be held at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum located at 175 Bourne Avenue in Pooler, Georgia (the Highway 80 exit off of I-95, just north of I-16).

As stated, training is a requirement for all Guardians prior to a trip. If you are not able to attend a training session, please let Larry know so other arrangements can be made.
At the completion of the training, all attendees are encouraged to eat lunch at the museum’s English Pub. Sandwiches, salads and soups start at $5.50 and up. Following lunch all attendees are encouraged to take a tour of the museum, conducted by Honor Flight Vice Chairman Ed Wexler (Col., Georgia Air Guard, Retired). Ed is also a docent at the museum.
