We are so happy you’re interested in getting involved with our work at Honor Flight Savannah. There are so many ways for you to help, and we truly appreciate each and every effort. By lending your support, you’ll become a valuable part of our Nonprofit Organization and help to send veterans to Washington D.C. to see the memorials in honor of their sacrifices.

Johnson's Creek Tavern Fundraiser

Please join us: 2/29/2020 8:00am -2:00pm

The dollar bills that decorate Johnson Creek Tavern's walls, ceilings and fans will once again be removed to help send veterans to visit war memorials in Washington, D.C. with Honor Flight Savannah, Inc.

On Saturday, February 29, 2020, Johnson Creek Tavern co-owners Jay Lloyd and Coleman White along with Honor Flight Savannah's Board of Directors will host an event to pull the dollars to benefit veterans. We are seeking active duty volunteers and their families, veterans or others to help us in the effort to remove the tavern dollars for this generous donation. Last time, in 2018, volunteers pulled down $17,569, enough money to completely fund all of the veterans on the May, 2018 Honor Flight trip to Washington, DC. This year, the dollar bills will be used to fund the spring 2020 trip.

Please fill out the Volunteer Application for full details and join us for this unique fundraiser! We are seeking 15 volunteers per 2-hour shift. Should you have any questions regarding this event please contact Jim Weiskopf via email at JWeiskopf@aol.com
